WELCOME BACK.

My site is back up and running after an entire year of it being down. Thanks to aplus.net, my web hosting subscription expired without any notification, and they wanted me to re-up with them for a large fee. Naturally, I declined, and after a year I signed up with lunarpages. So far, so good, but it's only been one week...

Alrighty then.

SHOT ONE: I recorded a trio cd about two months ago with Brian Wolfe on drums and with Glen Oliff and Marc Blackwood sharing the bass duties. It is being mixed right now by Dick Kontas in NYC and I hope to have a final product by December. We'll see how it goes. Produced by Acoustra Productions in Rockville, MD. It will be available on this site as well as CD Baby.

I have been travelling to New Orleans every two months with Touch Acoustra, and have fallen in love with the crescent city. Check out the pics in "look". You can see Touch Acoustra every Thursday night at Bossa in Adams Morgan (right next door to Madam's Organ). 10pm-1am.

I recorded a track with the fusion/jazz group PostModern Blues last month. Look for their new cd to come out in 2005.

DFD fans: Dog Fashion Disco recorded a live DVD at Fletcher's in Baltimore two months ago. It was probably the loudest and sweatiest gig I have ever played in my life, but a lot of fun. It will be released in January 2005. Visit www.dogfashiondisco.com for more info.

6TH GRADE!: My recording adventures with Joe Romano have continued and we have an additional 12 songs. Occasionally Paul Stovenour graces us with his drumming and soaring vocals, and the end result is sonic bliss. It's pretty music with questionable subject matter. At least it makes us laugh...

OTHER FUN FACTS: For the past 6 months I have been working in the graphics/production department at JazzTimes magazine in Silver Spring, MD. This job has been a blessing and the office is an excellent place to work. I hope to stay here as long as possible. You can't ask for a better 9-5 gig for a musician. Check out JazzTimes and HARP magazines!

www.fazfolio.com. Click to hear some of the web music I have written for my boy Faz's website. It's all under the "Gallery" section.

SORRY FOR THE LONG ENTRY! Please check out my "look", "listen" and "rolodex" sections. The "read" section will soon be my current gig schedule. Stay tuned.

Good evening.
